SOS Celebrates the Spirit of Home

The SOS Children's Village Spirit of Home Luncheon celebrates friends and neighbors whose commitment, dedication and generosity greatly enrich the lives of the foster children growing up at SOS.

"Home" is a word that most of us use daily without even thinking about its meaning. A home is far more than a physical structure in which we live. It should also be a place of safety, security, stability, nurturing, support, encouragement, comfort and care. These vital elements were missing in the homes of the foster children who come to SOS.

Each of this year's honorees plays a significant role in establishing and building the "Spirit of Home" that every foster child at SOS experiences.
