This is What Love Looks Like

We all need some love sometimes, and children who enter the foster care system often need a little extra as they heal from past traumas and go about living their best lives. One of the most tangible ways we can show what loves looks like at SOS, is through our incredible program outcomes. What this shows us is that through the LOVE, caring, generosity, and support of people like you, our children and young adults continue to thrive.

our 2023 program outcomes

Goal: 75% of the children will improve or maintain their academic level.
Result: 90% attained this goal.

Goal: 75% of the children will improve or maintain their independent living skills.
Result: 91% attained this goal.

Goal: 75% of the children participating in the Next STEPS Program will be enrolled in school or employed full time.
Result: 97% attained this goal.

Goal: 90% of the young adults participating in the Next STEPS Program will not be homeless.
Result: 99% attained this goal.

Note: Our Next Steps program offers a continuum of services for young adults who have aged out of foster care
